Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented accounts professional to support our Governance team, in managing daily finance tasks and internal process workflows. This is a full-time role with Virtual X, and will be based at our office in MRANTI Tech Park, Bukit Jalil, KL.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team environment. A strong sense of ownership, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to improving internal processes are highly valued in this role.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including management accounts, financial accounts/report, and tax submissions.
  • Process billing, purchasing, claims, payroll, and other financial transactions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate staff leave records, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely approvals.
  • Manage and design internal applications and processes, including preparing documents and securing necessary approvals from designated personnel.
  • Provide administrative support, such as managing office resources and documentations.
What we're looking for
  • Relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Has experience in using related accounting softwares
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
