About the role

Intag Steel Hardware Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on and experienced leader to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time position will be responsible for managing the company’s Finance, HR, and Administration functions. You will lead a small support team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations while driving continuous improvements in financial planning, HR policies, and compliance.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other financial functions to ensure the financial health of the company.
• Supervise the maintenance of general ledger accounts, reconciliation, and the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports).
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
• Handle financial planning and banking transactions.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.
• Supervise and guide the accounting and administrative staff.
• Responsible for payroll processing and employee reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws (Employment Act) and maintain HR policies.
• Lead performance reviews, training, and employee engagement programs to support staff development.

Administration & Compliance

• Supervise office administration, including permits, licenses, insurance, and road tax renewals.
• Act as the primary liaison with auditors, banks, and government authorities.
• Maintain strong communication skills to effectively engage with internal teams, auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Fluent in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and management.

What We're Looking For

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or Business.
• 3+ years of experience in Finance, HR, or Administration, preferably in manufacturing or steel-related industries.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, accounting standards, and labor laws.
• Proven leadership experience in managing a small team and optimizing processes.
• A proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
