Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance and Account Manager to lead our financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and familiarity with tax regulations and credit monitoring (including CTOS analysis). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring financial stability, compliance, and performance optimization across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with department heads.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all local financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Oversee cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, regulatory authorities, and other financial institutions.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business planning and decision-making.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Monitor and analyze credit reports and scores through CTOS and provide insights for risk mitigation and credit assessments.
- Stay up to date with changes in tax regulations and ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
Education & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, including exposure to taxation and credit reporting.
- Solid experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
- Familiarity with CTOS credit monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in Chinese and Malay, English is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Autocount)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
