Primary Responsibilities: Financial Integrity, Data Analytics & Automation

1. Income Assurance & Financial Integrity

Conduct daily income audits on all revenue streams, including Cash, Credit Card, and Online Collections for the Theme Park and Carpark.

Execute meticulous daily reconciliation of collections from multiple sources, including the i-City SuperApp and various payment gateways, to ensure every transaction is correctly and completely recorded.

Lead the investigation and resolution of any system errors, discrepancies, or exceptions related to sales and collection data, ensuring swift and accurate corrective action.

2. Data Analysis & Business Intelligence (BI)

Leverage SQL and Power Query to extract, consolidate, and transform complex financial and operational data for analysis.

Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards and reports (e.g., using Power BI or advanced Excel) to visualize financial trends and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Perform ad-hoc analysis and handle data-centric projects to support strategic business decisions and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement.

Act as a key driver in the digitalization and automation of Finance department workflows, proactively identifying opportunities to reduce manual tasks.

Champion the use of advanced MS Excel and Power Query within the finance team, acting as a subject matter expert to train and upskill colleagues.

Take ownership of the Finance department's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), with responsibility for generating, updating, and managing all documentation via Notion.

Secondary Responsibilities & Professional Development

Full Set Accounting: Assist with handling the full set of accounts, including the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts. This is a secondary responsibility designed as a growth opportunity.

Audit & Tax: Receive training and actively support the finance team during the year-end audit process and in the preparation of corporate tax computations.

Perform other related duties and participate in finance projects as and when required.

Requirements

A) The Tech-Savvy Analyst: You have a background in finance or accounting with a strong, demonstrated passion for data, systems, and process automation. You are eager to apply your analytical skills and learn the full scope of a corporate accounting function.

B) The Modern Accountant: You are a qualified accountant or auditor who is not content with traditional methods. You have proactively developed skills in advanced Excel or other data tools and are excited by the chance to make them a core part of your job.

Must possess at least an Advanced/Higher Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.

Priority will be given to candidates with experience in an external or internal audit role due to the investigative nature of the primary tasks.

1-3 years of working experience is preferred; however, exceptional fresh graduates with a strong academic record and a clear interest in both accounting and data are encouraged to apply.

A strong command of Microsoft Excel is essential.

A demonstrated desire to continuously learn and upskill in tools like Power Query & SQL is required.

Familiarity with MHW Accounting Software is an added advantage.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with professional fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Must be an independent, responsible, committed, and self-motivated individual.
