Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid)

About the role:

We are hiring a Financial Analyst to join our Group Commercial and Consulting Finance team in Kuala Lumpur.

In this role, you will support financial planning and analysis activities across our Commercial and Consulting divisions, working closely with Finance Business Partners and key business stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a multinational environment, contribute to strategic initiatives, and develop your expertise in financial reporting, market analysis, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the production and development of accurate and timely monthly financial information, budgets, and forecasts (including long-term plans).

  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance trends, providing insightful commentary and recommendations.

  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic business initiatives.

  • Maintain and update risk and opportunity schedules with input from finance colleagues and business stakeholders.

  • Conduct market analysis, gathering information from publicly available sources to inform internal reporting.

  • Prepare presentation materials for senior management meetings.

About You:

  • University graduate or equivalent.

  • Business-level English proficiency in writing, speaking, and listening (TOEIC 700+ or equivalent).

  • At least 3 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, business analysis, or management accounting, ideally within a multinational environment.

  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis; proficient in Word and PowerPoint.

  • Comfortable using or learning systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and Power BI.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.

  • Positive, solution-oriented mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills.
