Job Brief

A current student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

An eye for detail and a knack for spotting inconsistencies or errors.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).

Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

A curious mind with a passion for learning and problem-solving.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the timely closing of monthly accounts, including but not limited to journal postings and preparation of reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of the general ledger, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Support audit exercises and reviews by auditors and/or authorities by preparing and providing requested information in a timely manner.
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy through automation and regular review of existing protocols.
  • Ensure responsible handling and safekeeping of financial documents, schedules, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company and departmental policies, guidelines, and operational procedures.
  • Attend any ad-hoc assignments that may be required from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word, or equivalent tools.
  • Knowledge of SAP B1 and BI tools is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting; experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
