Job summary

WhiteCrow Research Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to join our client’s global finance team in Malaysia. You will manage AP/AR, fixed assets, and assist in month-end close while ensuring statutory compliance and accurate reporting.

You will work with auditors, tax agents and regulators, support budgeting, and drive process improvements using SAP. A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Finance, Accounting or Audit functions.
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance or a professional accounting qualification (e.g ACCA/ CPA Australia/ CIMA).
• Experience in a shared service centre / Global Business Service centre context is a plus.
• Working knowledge and experience in SAP system is a must

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Reviewing transactions and documentation to ensure compliance with statutory and Group requirements.
• Assisting in cost monitoring and controls, while providing analytical support and insights on actual expenses and variances against budget.
• Working in a team to perform day-to-day accounting functions and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, general ledger entries, and Group and Statutory reporting.
• Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of management accounts, notes to the accounts, cash flow projections, and statutory and tax submissions.
• Providing support for planning and budgeting exercises.
• Assisting in system and process enhancements.
• Liaising with external and internal auditors, tax agents, the company secretary, regulatory authorities, relationship managers, and other parties to ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax, statutory, and Group requirements.
• Performing any ad hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.

What you already have...

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Finance, Accounting or Audit functions
