Orion is a leading material supplier specializing in high-quality silicone, sustainable silicone recycling, and advanced extruder machines. With our headquarters in Singapore and a manufacturing plant in China, we are expanding our presence with a new facility in Penang, Malaysia.

As we grow, we are seeking talented professionals to join our Malaysia plant. Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Manage and monitor daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors and prepare supporting documentation for audits.
  • Work with local tax authorities to ensure compliance with corporate tax, SST, and customs-related duties.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and cash flow analysis.
  • Support import/export transactions accounting, including foreign currency transactions and trade finance documents.
  • Process employee payroll, including calculating salaries, bonuses, deductions, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.).
  • Support daily office operations and ensure a well-managed work environment.
  • Handle procurement of office and pantry supplies.
  • Assist in coordinating travel arrangements for corporate office personnel.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Immediate reporting Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance or Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, MICPA) or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Able to handle Administrative and HR matters will be a plus point.
  • Familiarity with import/export documentation is preferred.
  • 5+ years accounting & audit working experience, preferably dealing with import/export.
