Responsible for the full spectrum of Financial, accounting functions and business support.
Manage and lead the Finance team to ensure effective day-to-day operations of overall accounting and finance functions.
Timely and accurate monthly/annual financial reporting (including P & L, balance sheet, etc.) in compliance with applicable governing standards and regulations and group reporting requirements.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage cash flow, working capital, and banking facilities.
Oversee daily financial operations, costing, budgeting, credit control, and taxation.
Responsible for year-end closing and liaison with external auditors, bankers, company secretary, IRB financial audit, and related matters.
Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products.
Manage stock and stock take to ensure accurate stock counting and recording of both system and physical. Lead the team for monthly and yearly reconciliation of stock variance.
Handle the full spectrum of HR function and review end-to-end payroll process & submission of payroll-related reports.
Plan, organize, lead, and motivate team members in the Finance Department. Undertake specific assignments as instructed from time to time.
Perform regular analysis of sales performance, customer profitability, and product margins to support commercial decision-making.
Requirements:
Professional Accountancy Qualification of ACCA, CIMA, CAT, LCCI.
Preferably those with experience in retail, distributor, and wholesale industry. Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar position is required for this role.
Knowledge in handling a full set of accounts is a must.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
Strong business acumen with good technical knowledge; pro-active, detail-oriented, committed, enthusiastic, and self-driven with a high level of integrity.
