• Overseeing daily transactions (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation)
• Liaising with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Conducting monthly stock takes and reconciling variances; controlling all inventory such as adjustments and transfers.
• Preparing invoices, credit/debit notes, delivery orders, debtor aging reports, and collections.
• Performing reconciliations of debtors/creditors and intercompany balances.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
• Maintaining proper accounting records and documentation for audit and tax purposes.
• Ensuring timely payroll processing.
• Performing any other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy.
• LCCI or partial ACCA/CIMA qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in handling AR/AP is mandatory.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Hard-working, detail-oriented, and meticulous.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Team player with a sense of urgency.
• Knowledge of SQL and Autocount accounting system is a plus.
• Willing to work in Kepong.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
