FINANCE /ACCOUNTS MANAGER (near Kelana LRT)

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced financial reporting and accounting manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, SST, banking procedures, and reasonable knowledge in tax, relevant legislations, and Company Law. Experience with financial reporting and analysis is also essential.

We are a professional service firm providing accounting and advisory services to our portfolio of clients. This role is to fill our client-facing accounting management position. The successful candidate will act as an advisor to a portfolio of clients in accounting and finance matters, including coaching and training accounting staff to perform tasks for client companies.

The candidate should have good communication skills; multilingual abilities are an advantage as our clients are mainly SMEs in Malaysia.

1. Manage a portfolio of clients and their accounts
2. Review client accounts prepared by the team
3. Resource planning and job allocation
4. Coach and train staff to be competent in their roles
5. Monitor staff performance
6. Oversee work in progress and ensure jobs are completed within deadlines
7. Communicate with clients on accounting and tax issues

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
2. 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and accounting
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
4. Experience with financial reporting and analysis
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or CA qualification is a plus but not mandatory
