Job description

Position Summary:

Assist in handling full set of accounts for Monitor MYS.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day to day finance and accounting operations as AP, AR, General ledger, Fixed Assets and SST submission.
  2. Ensure the company books for accounting and finance meet Malaysia’s audit & statutory purpose.
  3. Ensure integrity of financial records, all provisions are supported by analysis and accounts are reconciled monthly.
  4. Prepare monthly financial reporting accurately and timely to Finance & Accounts Manager for review.
  5. Assist in issuing sales invoice to customers, monitoring and follow-up payments.
  6. Perform any other duties and responsibilities on ad-hoc basis.

Education and/or Work Experience:

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate or Bachelor Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.

Accounting experience in multinational company will be added advantage.

Generic and Functional Skills/Competencies:

Must be highly meticulous, proactive and team player possess strong communication skills.

High proficiency in (speaking and writing) English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in other languages will be an added advantage.

Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, financial planning & analysis, forecasting, financial compliance.

Knowledge of SST submission & custom requirement.

Familiar with income tax computation & submission.
