Job summary

Carrera Management Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Finance & Accounting Intern to join the dynamic finance team based in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur.

This casual internship offers practical experience in financial accounting and reporting while learning from experienced professionals. You will support the preparation and processing of financial documents, reconciliation, data entry, and monthly/quarterly reporting, gaining exposure to real-world accounting practices within a professional business

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recently completed degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Keen interest in developing a career in accounting and finance.
• Reliable and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and processing of financial documents, invoices, and expense reports.
• Support reconciliation of accounts and bank statements.
• Maintain and update financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Compile financial data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Assist in preparing trial balances and general ledger accounts.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on finance queries.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support the finance department.
• Learn and apply fundamental accounting principles and best practices.
