Job summary

SC Estate Builder Berhad in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Finance & Accounting Executive to join our team. You will handle the full set of accounts and monthly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in accounting or finance, 2–3 years’ experience, and proficiency with AutoCount or SQL Accounting, Excel, and related software. You will liaise with auditors and banks and support budgeting and cash flow management.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling full set of accounts is highly preferred.
• Familiar with AutoCount / SQL Accounting / other accounting software.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and willing to learn.
• Experience dealing with auditors, tax agents, bankers and company secretary is an added advantage.
• Industry experience in construction, property development, building materials or solar/renewable energy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and daily accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, invoicing and payment processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, journals and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper accounting records and filing system.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
• Prepare schedules and documents for auditors, tax agents and company secretary.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and authorities.
• Assist in preparation of audited financial statements and statutory reporting.
• Monitor intercompany and related-party transactions and reconciliations.
• Handle SST, taxation and other statutory matters where applicable.
• Assist in banking facilities, financing applications and preparation of financial information for banks.
• Monitor loan repayments, financing facilities and banking documentation.
• Assist in preparation for tenders, projects and financing submissions.
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded with appropriate documentation.
• Perform other finance, accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
