Finance & Account Manager/Account Executive (Immediate Hiring)

Develop and manage financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals.

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Monitor and analyse financial performance and highlight variances.

Prepare timely project costing reports and profitability analysis.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead annual budgeting process and monitor adherence to budgets.

Forecast future financial performance and recommend improvements.

Work closely with project teams to develop and monitor project budgets.

3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Manage company cash flow and banking relationships.

Ensure optimal fund allocation for projects and operations.

Monitor accounts receivable, payable, and ensure prompt collections and payments.

4. Compliance & Internal Controls

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (E- Invoicing, LHDN, SST, EPF, SOCSO, HRDF, CIDB, etc.).

Coordinate audits, tax filings, and other regulatory submissions.

Maintain internal control systems and ensure best financial practices.

5. Procurement & Cost Control

Review and validate sub-contractor payments, and claims.

Collaborate with quantity surveyors and project managers to ensure cost efficiency.

6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Supervise finance and accounts team members.

Provide financial advice and support to project teams and senior management.

Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, and government bodies as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred.

Minimum 6–8 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of construction project accounting and cost control.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., UBS Accounting) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

MUST be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
