Finance & Account Executive / Senior Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Account Executive / Senior Executive to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting functions. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and review financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business decision-making

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support operational activities

Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation

Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures

Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance and accounting role, preferably in the construction industry

Strong working knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting standards

Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
