The Finance (Account) Executive/Manager, Corporate Services Department at MyDIGITAL Corporation is responsible for managing day-to-day financial and accounting operations in compliance with corporate and public sector financial management standards. This role includes overseeing both Operating Expenditure (OE) and Development Expenditure (DE) funds planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting. The incumbent will support initiatives and coordinate closely with key government stakeholders, including the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the Ministry of Economy (KE) and the Ministry of Digital(KD), to ensure effective budget execution, statutory compliance, and alignment with national digital transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily finance and accounting operations, including payment processing, invoice verification, and supporting documentation.
Validate and review accounting entries and ensure accurate project costing and financial tracking for both OE and DE allocations.
Prepare and monitor Operating Expenditure (OE) and Development Expenditure (DE) budgets in accordance with MOF and KE guidelines.
Assist in the preparation and submission of government budget documents, including justification papers, monitoring system entries, and annual estimates.
Monitor cash flow, fund utilization, and expenditure to ensure alignment with approved allocations and financial control procedures.
Liaise with MOF, KE, KD and relevant agencies on matters related to budget planning, approvals, disbursements, and compliance reporting.
Support corporate financing tasks, including financial forecasting, analysis, and strategic recommendations aligned with MyDIGITAL's non-profit objectives.
Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, preparation of financial reports, and compliance with audit and statutory requirements.
Facilitate internal and external audits; liaise with auditors, tax agents, and consultants for financial reviews and submissions.
Prepare formal financial correspondences, budget proposals, and board papers as required.
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and recordkeeping of all financial matters in accordance with public sector audit standards.
Support the Director of Corporate Services in ad-hoc assignments, project-based financial analysis, and cross-agency coordination as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Accounting.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Familiarity with government finance processes and compliance is an added advantage.
Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data handling.
Good analytical, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
