Key Responsibilities

1. Invoice Issuance & Payment Processing

· Prepare and issue invoices to clients/customers in a timely manner.

· Monitor invoice status and follow up on overdue payments.

· Process vendor and supplier payments accurately and on time.

· Maintain records of all invoices and payment transactions for reconciliation.

2. Accounting & Bookkeeping

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

· Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

· Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded.

· Preparation of complete sets of accounting reports (e.g., Profit and Loss Statements and Balance Sheets).

3. Financial Reporting

· Prepare weekly, monthly and annual financial reports.

· Monitor expenses and ensure they align with budget allocations.

· Support the preparation of annual budgets.

4. Compliance & Taxation

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.

· Prepare and submit SST and other statutory filings as required.

5. Audit Support

· Coordinate with external auditors during audits.

· Prepare necessary documentation and financial records for audit purposes.

Key Qualifications

1. Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Experience:

· Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting roles; audit experience is a plus.

·Proven experience handling a full set of accounts independently.

·Proficient in accounting software such as ABSS or QuickBooks.

3. Skills:

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.

· Able to handle analytical and problem-solving tasks.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.

4. Behavioral Traits:

· Strong ethics and integrity in handling financial matters.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Remarks:

  • Office location in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor
  • Working hours: 8am to 5pm Mon to Fri

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
