Job summary

Nestlé Shah Alam is seeking a Filling & Packing Engineer to support on-line filling and packing activities at our Shah Alam Complex in Selangor. You will troubleshoot equipment and process issues, drive line efficiency improvements, and support preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background with 1–2 years in manufacturing or FMCG, and a hands-on problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing, production, filling & packing, or FMCG.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and hands-on problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in Beverage, Food, FMCG, or Packaging industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support filling and packing production lines to ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Improve line efficiency, reliability, and Asset Intensity (AI).
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Hygiene, and Food Safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Technical teams.
