Job description

To perform field sampling or testing accordance to approved methodologies.

To prepare field test reports.

To check the completeness of site sampling information, including fieldwork data, sample submission forms, and field sampling photos, and update these into the system.

To transfer or download logged data from field sampling and testing equipment.

To assist in drafting and revising work instructions and worksheets.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow and enforce company health and safety policies.

Assist seniors in preparing necessary sampling devices and samplers for fieldwork.

Assist seniors in calibration and maintenance of field sampling and testing equipment.

Assist seniors in carrying out sampling or testing at sampling sites.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related fields.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in Chemistry.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Valid Malaysian driving license with a clean record.
• Able and willing to work outdoors in adverse conditions.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds (22.72kg) and comfortable with heights.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and a good team player.
• Professional work ethic and high personal integrity.
• Willing to work outside normal hours as per team workload.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Available for the Penang vacancy.
