Job summary

Vehtec Sdn. Bhd. is hiring a Technician to install GPS tracking systems, MDVR, cameras, and vehicle accessories across various locations.

The role involves dismantling existing devices, performing minor repairs, testing installations, and providing basic customer training. The ideal candidate has hands-on electronics experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel to customer sites and outstations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing and troubleshooting GPS, MDVR and cameras in vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring.
• Able to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and outstations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in automotive electronics installation.
• Technical certification in electronics or automotive technology.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good communication in Bahasa Melayu and English.
• Possess own transport and able to interpret wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install GPS tracking systems, MDVR, cameras, and vehicle accessories.
• Dismantle and remove existing devices as required.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs on installed systems.
• Ensure installations meet company standards and are completed efficiently.
• Conduct testing to verify proper functionality of equipment.
• Provide basic training to customers on system usage.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs and services.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines during installations.
• Collaborate with the technical team to resolve complex issues.
• QC units and verify hardware issues.
• Provide timely reports to supervisors.
• Coordinate communication between customer support and technical team.
