Job summary

Prospect Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking a Technician (Customer Support) to install, service and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites and support startup and maintenance programs. The role combines field visits with some remote support, reflecting a hybrid work setup.

You will work closely with engineering and sales teams, travel to client sites as required, and perform routine maintenance, testing, and reporting to ensure smooth operation and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma with relevant working experience or a Degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical).
• Possess own transportation and willing to travel to customer sites as required.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting is an added

Responsibilities

• Install and service equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot/Fix technical issues/Product testing.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Assist in product roll-out and startup, maintain current equipment and resolve faults as required
• Train customers on how to use the equipment properly.
• Prepare service reports after each visit.
• Respond to customer enquiries and support requests.
• Travel to customer locations when required
• Work closely with the Sales and Project teams
