SGS, the leading inspection and certification company, is seeking a Field Testing Assistant to support engineers in field-testing jobs. This role involves preparing equipment, adhering to safety policies, and conducting tests under supervision. Ideal candidates should possess a minimum SPM and be eager to learn, with training provided for success in this operational role.

Responsible for assisting and conducting simple field-testing jobs that do not require a competency certificate.
Assist engineers and engineering inspectors in field testing jobs.
Understand all related scope pertaining to field testing jobs.
Follow correct procedures and methods for testing based on the intended scope.
React promptly when facing problems on site.
Prepare and arrange testing equipment before job execution.
Assist Safety and Health Committee members in organizing and implementing safety and health programs at the workplace, safety promotion campaigns, and others.
Carry out any other instructions made by the employer or any person in charge of the workplace related to the scope of work.
Adhere to the applicable Quality Management System by exercising necessary standards and processes when carrying out responsibilities, ensuring compliance with ISO 17020, MIBAS policy, ISO 17065, ACB policy, ISO 17025, and SAMM policy (where applicable).
Adhere to SGS Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Policy by maintaining good safety behavior and exercising necessary standards and processes to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by immediate superior or department manager.
Minimum SPM. Diploma or Degree acceptable for future upgrade.
No experience needed as training will be provided. Preferably male due to potential work in harsh conditions such as confined spaces, heights, offshore. Age between 18 and 30 years old.
