Job summary

A leading technology service provider is seeking a Field Service Technician (Electrical / Mechanical) to join its team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will provide technical support in troubleshooting and maintenance for Printing and Post Press equipment, with training provided in Japan. Ideal for those with a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in machine troubleshooting.
• Possess driving license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting of Printing, Binding and Finishing machines.
• Report to the Service Manager regarding on-site repairs.
• Perform non-scheduled repairs on equipment.

Field Service Technician (Electrical / Mechanical)

To work alongside highly motivated service team. Factory training in Japan will be provided. The Field Service Technician reports to the Service Manager and will provide technical, troubleshooting and maintenance support to machine installations in the field. Performing non-scheduled repairs and troubleshooting in a professional manner on Printing and Post Press equipment

Scope of Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting of Printing, Binding and Finishing machines

Perform a reasonable amount of overtime work to support business/customers’ needs when necessary

Report to the Service Manager regarding on-site repairs and/or maintenance calls and complete job service report

Job Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

At least 2 years of working experience in the machine troubleshooting role

Good working knowledge of PLC, Inverter, 1 or 3 phase power supply, etc

Knowledge of computer and networking will be an advantage

Customer service oriented with a positive mindset

Possess driving license
