Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service Building Management and related systems across Malaysia. The role requires at least 1 year of BMS experience, an engineering degree or diploma, and the ability to travel 25–50% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across customer sites.
• Support BMS / HVAC / Fire / Security systems.
• Perform system configuration, programming, and commissioning.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues (including networking-related issues).
• Execute small service projects and upgrades.
• Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors for service delivery.
• Monitor site performance, produce reports, and meet KPIs.
• Build strong relationships with customers and ensure high satisfaction.
• Support financial activities including cost estimation and forecasting.

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our service team in Malaysia. This role is critical in delivering high-quality technical service across multiple customer sites, ensuring system reliability, and driving customer satisfaction.

You will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing building systems while directly contributing to business performance and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across customer sites
• Support BMS / HVAC / Fire / Security systems
• Perform system configuration, programming, and commissioning
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues (including networking-related issues)
• Execute small service projects and upgrades

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in BMS (Building Management Systems)
• Strong troubleshooting and field service expertise
• Engineering Degree or Diploma
• Ability to work onsite and travel between customer locations (25–50%)
• Malaysian citizenship (no visa sponsorship available)

Practical experience with:

• HVAC Controls
• Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) - Advantageous
• Building Automation Systems (BAS)
