Main Responsibilities:
- Complete installation and commissioning of vacuum pumps and systems for all VT brands, including Edwards, Leybold, and Atlas Copco Vacuum, within your designated region.
- Provide service support, both in-house and field-based, for all products of VT brands including Edwards, Leybold, and Atlas Copco Vacuum.
- Deliver technical support to internal and external stakeholders, including failure analysis, good vacuum practices, and safety procedures.
- Assist in developing the region to increase service revenue and performance while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Promote Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Contract Maintenance (CM) contracts.
- Ensure all field service activities adhere to VTS health and safety policies, with proper risk control measures.
- Provide accurate reports to team leaders or technical support staff to facilitate informed decision-making regarding product issues.
- Use SAP to accurately document service activities, from creating field service notifications and orders to completion.
- Arrange decontamination of pumps and equipment with local contractors as needed.
- Provide on-site and in-house product training for stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of field service experience in a relevant industry, with strong customer-facing skills, vacuum equipment service and repairs, and service coordination experience.
- Recognized mechanical/electronics trade qualification or similar preferred.
- Experience with VT branded equipment (Edwards, Leybold, Atlas Copco) or similar competitors is highly advantageous.
- Good understanding of vacuum applications.
- Experience with electronic vacuum gauges and instrumentation control systems, including installation, calibration, and diagnosis via communication protocols.
- Experience with SAP or C4C CRM is a plus but not essential.
- Forklift license and electrical connect/disconnect licenses are preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
