Job summary

GREAT WALL MOTOR SALES MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Field Quality Engineer focused on Powertrain & Chassis to analyze and manage product quality issues in the Malaysian market. You will coordinate with R&D, After-Sales, suppliers, and HQ teams to drive timely resolutions.

You will provide rapid responses during initial launch stages, conduct on-site investigations, teardown and failure analysis, and verify corrective actions and root causes. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in analyzing and resolving automotive quality issues.
• Experience in field quality, vehicle quality, after-sales quality or warranty.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and manage product quality issues in the Malaysian market.
• Coordinate with R&D, After-Sales, suppliers and HQ teams to drive quality improvements.
• Initiate and drive TOP and mass quality issue resolutions with tracking and corrective actions.
• Provide rapid response during initial launch, including on-site investigations and corrective actions.
