Job summary

Eco World Development Group Berhad is seeking a Project Engineer in Negeri Sembilan to support planning and execution of construction projects. You will manage technical scopes, coordinate consultants and contractors, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, quality, safety and project requirements.

The role requires independent resolution of technical issues within scope and escalation of major matters to the next level, with a collaborative, cross-functional environment and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of site-based or engineering consultant experience.
• Knowledge of Malaysian construction regulations and standards.
• Professional or technical certification in construction, quality, project management or safety is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, approved materials, method statements and relevant technical documents.
• Provide technical guidance to on-site teams to ensure construction works comply with approved plans and technical requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces within the assigned project scope including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and infrastructure works.
• Identify discrepancies, incomplete information, constructability issues or clashes between drawings and site conditions.
• Escalate major design changes or safety issues to the relevant manager.
• Coordinate with consultants for inspections, approvals and resolution of technical matters.
