Job summary

Michael Page International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is recruiting a fashion merchandising professional to own merchandise planning, forecasting, and inventory strategies across retail channels. You will partner with buying, operations, and commercial teams to ensure the right products reach the right stores at the right time.

You will develop seasonal merchandise and inventory plans, analyse sales performance, and manage stock allocation and replenishment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in fashion merchandising or merchandise planning.
• Background from fashion, apparel, lifestyle, or mass retail industry.
• Strong analytical and forecasting skills with commercial acumen.
• Experienced in inventory management, allocation, and replenishment planning.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with retail planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal merchandise and inventory plans aligned with sales targets.
• Analyse sales performance, market trends, and product demand forecasts.
• Manage stock allocation, replenishment, and inventory optimisation strategies.
• Monitor Open-to-Buy budgets and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with buying and retail teams to maximise product productivity.
• Prepare regular planning reports and drive commercial decision-making.
