5G-Starlink Pte. in Malaysia seeks a Fashion Designer cum Merchandiser to translate fashion trends into market-ready concepts. You will conceptualize, develop, and curate designs, select fabrics, and support sampling and production follow-up.

You will collaborate with Merchandising Manager to develop strategies, monitor stock, analyze reports, and ensure designs align with brand direction and customer preferences.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Multimedia, Fashion Design or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Sharp and creative mind for innovative ideas.
• A team player, with strong initiative and creativity, and able to work independently.
• Fine skills in sketching, sewing and material selection.

Responsabilités

• Conceptualize, develop and create design according to Company direction.
• Research global, domestic and competitive markets to identify new trends.
• Analyze and stay up-to-date with emerging fashion trends of shapes, colours and designs.
• Design development and fabric selection, sampling production follow-up, and price negotiation.
• Check quality and measurement for new samples before production.
• Prepare documents and samples for presentations and photoshoots.
• Coordinate merchandising strategies with the Merchandising Manager.
