About the role

7DAYZ is seeking a talented Fashion Designer cum Merchandising Executive to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in shaping fashion trends and driving the commercial success of our brand. Reporting to the Senior Merchandising Manager, you will be based in our head office in Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

Conceptualise and design innovative fashion collections that cater to our target market

Part of the merchandising team to ensure on-trend and commercially viable product offerings

Oversee the development of design samples and prototypes

Analyse market trends, customer preferences and competitive landscape

Participate in product planning, pricing and assortment strategies

Manage the end-to-end production process, from sourcing materials to quality control

Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

What we're looking for

Degree in Fashion Design or a related field

Minimum 1 year of experience in fashion design and product development

Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behaviour and the retail industry

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics

Passion for fashion and a desire to push the boundaries of design
