Factory Packaging Supervisor

About the role

This is a full-time Factory Packaging Supervisor role based in Pontian Johor, supporting the operations of Xiangyu Furniture Manufacturing SDN. BHD. The supervisor will oversee packaging and distribution of finished furniture, ensuring efficient warehouse and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervise and coordinate the Finishing and Packaging team to meet quality standards.
2. Monitor and optimize finishing and packaging processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
3. Oversee storage, handling, and distribution of finished goods to meet delivery requirements.
4. Liaise with production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve packaging or distribution issues.
5. Maintain accurate inventory records and report on packaging and distribution activities.
6. Implement health, safety, and environmental policies within operations.
7. Identify training needs and provide coaching to the packaging team.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics.
2. Understanding of powder coating, packaging materials, techniques, equipment, and logistics best practices.
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with creative process improvement ideas.
4. Proficiency in warehouse management systems and data analysis tools.
5. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to manufacturing and logistics.
