Job description

Our client is newly established manufacturing company in Malaysia. They are doing high machining plastics. They currently hiring Factory Manager/ Production Manager to support the factory set up. They are looking for experienced leaders to help build the factory operations from the ground up.

Location to work: Sepang, Selangor

Job Responsibilities: -

• Oversee daily factory operations including production planning, quality control, safety and equipment maintenance

• Lead and manage the production team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow

• Ensure production output meets company standards in terms quality, cost and delivery timelines

• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, procurement and HQ team in China to support new product introduction and process improvements

• Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiative (e.g: lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen)

• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies

• Coordinate with Shanghai factory on product transfer, equipment and technical matters

• Support recruitment, training and development of the factory staff

• Prepare reports for upper management and support strategic planning for factory growth

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering industrial engineering or related field

• Minimum 10 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a managerial position

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Experience in plastic parts machining, welding parts or equipment assembly is a strong advantage

• Knowledge in production planning, quality systems (ISO) and safety standards

• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English (Japanese is an added advantage)

• Willing to work in Serenia Industrial Park, Sepang
