Job summary

Topline Safety Glass (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on factory machinery and facilities in Selangor.

The role includes responding to breakdowns promptly and conducting preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The candidate should have 2–3 years in factory or facility maintenance, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and be prepared for hands-on work.

Qualifications

• Preferably 2–3 years of working experience in factory maintenance, machinery maintenance or facility maintenance.
• Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general facility maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot machinery, equipment and facility-related problems independently.
• Willing to perform hands-on maintenance and repair work and attend urgent breakdowns.
• Responsible, disciplined, hardworking and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Possess own transport and able to travel when required.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of factory machinery, equipment and facilities.
• Attend to machine breakdowns promptly and carry out necessary repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Carry out preventive and scheduled maintenance for machinery, equipment and factory facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and other technical issues within the employee's competency.
• Monitor and maintain factory facilities, including lighting, electrical fittings, plumbing, water supply, air-conditioning, ventilation, air compressors, doors, shutters and other building facilities.
• Carry out minor repair works involving plumbing, electrical works, welding, fabrication, painting and general building maintenance where required.
• Inspect the factory premises regularly and report any defects, damage, leakage, safety hazards or maintenance requirements to the Management.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors or service providers for repair, servicing and maintenance works when required.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, servicing, breakdowns, repairs and spare parts used.
• Ensure all machinery, equipment and facilities are maintained in safe and proper working condition.
