Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Engineer to lead equipment and facility optimizations at Bayan Lepas, Malaysia. You will analyze data, design layouts, and coordinate maintenance to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will collaborate with contractors and internal teams to implement cost-effective improvements, monitor regulatory compliance, and deliver accurate reports, budgets, and processing plans that improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Facilities Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Gathering data, blueprints, and reports.
• Determining facility and equipment specifications.
• Analyzing project costs and preparing budgets.
• Designing and overseeing facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls.
• Evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to improve efficiencies.

• Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities.

Facilities Engineer Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
