Job Description
  1. Prepare master maintenance plan, calibration schedule and perform predictive and preventive maintenance. Guide and work closely with shopfloor team to carry out the required maintenance at production lines.
  2. Promptly attend to process equipment and machine failure and other facilities for investigation and corrective action to ensure speedy restoration of normal plant production.
  3. Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for parts and services at the best costs without compromising quality of parts and services.
  4. Implement and promote maintenance procedures in the shopfloor.
  5. Manage and control stocks of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  6. Responsible for updating and filing of all maintenance records.
  7. Collaborate with Product & Process Industrialization Engineer for new and existing product process improvement.
  8. Communicate with suppliers, Vulcanite stakeholders and external bodies as required.
  9. Maintain good housekeeping and 5S.
  10. Maintain consistent application of company policies, procedures and shop floor rules.
  11. Adhere and enforce all Occupational Safety and Health laws and regulations as well as such standards, practices and procedures instituted by the Company.
  12. Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by the Manufacturing Manager.
Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
