Job summary

Un hôpital communautaire de renom, engagé à fournir des soins de santé abordables et de qualité à Ipoh, recherche un gestionnaire des installations. Le candidat idéal doit détenir un diplôme en ingénierie et avoir une solide expérience en gestion de facilities, en supervisant divers systèmes et en s'assurant de leur conformité aux normes de sécurité. Cette position offre l'opportunité de diriger une équipe dynamique tout en contribuant activement à la mission de l'hôpital.

Qualifications

  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans un département des installations.
  • Expérience en gestion dans des établissements de santé est un atout.

Responsibilities

  • Surveiller la gestion des bâtiments, des installations et de l'entretien paysager.
  • Gérer les systèmes de climatisation et l'équipement électrique.
  • Gérer des projets (installations, rénovations incluant budgets et délais).

Candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Facilities Management, or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a facility department.

Minimum of 5 years in a management capacity (added advantage in healthcare establishments).

Good mechanical skills and knowledge of civil works, HVAC, and other building systems.

Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization abilities.

Able to manage and lead projects (e.g., building/facility upgrading projects).

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a facilities team.

Main responsibilities:

To oversee the management and control of the following areas:

  • Building, facilities, and landscape upkeep and maintenance
  • Air conditioning systems (Mechanical engineering), civil works & building structures
  • All low and high voltage electrical supplies and equipment (Electrical Engineering)
  • Project Management (building installments, refurbishments, and renovations including budgets and timelines)
  • Housekeeping and laundry services
  • Clinical waste management and pest control
  • Management of CCTV systems
  • Maintaining compliance with operational standards & safety regulations across all facilities

Other Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform periodic inspections and develop action plans for findings
  • Attend management meetings/discussions as required
  • Prepare and submit reports/data for management review upon request
  • Manage staff discipline, motivation, and counseling as needed
  • Perform/manage/coordinate other reasonable duties as assigned
