Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive
Facility Executive to oversee the preventive maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency of our facility. The role involves managing service contracts, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have experience in facility maintenance within the food industry and be well-versed in
GMP, HACCP, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventive Maintenance & Facility Management
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and food safety compliance.
- Monitor and update maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), job plans, and records for audits.
- Utilize SAP or other CMMS to track maintenance activities, work orders, and spare parts inventory.
- Service Contract & Vendor Management
- Manage service contracts for lifts, boilers, fire protection, water treatment, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Ensure vendors meet food safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Evaluate vendor performance and recommend contract renewals, modifications, or terminations.
- Equipment & System Maintenance
- Oversee maintenance of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), boilers, air scrubbers, and refrigeration systems.
- Schedule inspections and ensure compliance with environmental and industrial safety standards.
- Work with engineers and technicians to enhance system reliability and reduce downtime.
- Compliance & Safety Management
- Ensure all facility operations comply with HACCP, GMP, ISO, and local regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and conduct internal inspections to identify risks.
- Train maintenance teams on SOP adherence and best practices.
- Spare Parts & Inventory Control
- Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and coordinate procurement of food-grade components.
- Work on cost optimization initiatives to reduce energy consumption and improve operational efficiency.
Qualification/ Experience
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering or a related field.
Minimum
3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in the
food manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of
HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and safety regulations.
Experience in
SAP or CMMS systems for maintenance tracking is an advantage.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage external service providers.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
