Facility Engineer Sr

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Participate in the EHS team to establish and maintain ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 systems.
2. Develop and update safety, environment, and health procedures.
3. Lead the EHS team in routine inspections and follow-up on findings.
4. Facilitate emergency preparedness and response, including organizing fire drills and chemical spill drills.
5. Assist in establishing and following up on the EHS Management Program (EHSMP). Participate in routine EHS meetings and oversee environmental activities.
6. Conduct accident statistics, investigations, and develop reports, including follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
7. Coordinate with the EHS team to identify and evaluate environmental aspects and risks/hazards across the plant. Develop and follow up on the annual EHS management plan.
8. Identify applicable regulations and legislation, and evaluate compliance.
9. Conduct internal environmental audits regularly and follow up on non-conformities until closure. Support passing customer audits.
10. Support construction projects in EHS and fire protection fields.
11. Conduct EHS-related training such as orientation and chemical handling training.
12. Maintain close contact with local authorities concerned.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge Requirements

1. Effective communication skills for presenting information and responding to groups of managers, clients, and the public.
2. Problem-solving skills, including data collection and analysis to establish facts and draw conclusions.
3. Proficiency in operating personal computers with Windows OS and related software.
4. Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil’s software packages.
5. Ability to write simple correspondence and understand visual aids.
6. Ability to follow simple instructions and handle standardized situations.
7. Basic reading and comprehension skills for instructions, memos, and correspondence.
8. Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as calculating rates, ratios, and interpreting graphs.
