About the role

We are seeking an experienced Facility Engineer to join our dynamic team at Epsilon Medical Devices Sdn Bhd in Kamunting, Perak. As a Facility Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the efficiency of our state-of-the-art medical device manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to ensure the reliability and performance of the facility's infrastructure

Coordinating and supervising the work of external contractors and vendors

Identifying and addressing any issues or malfunctions in the facility's systems, and implementing corrective actions

Analysing and reporting on the facility's energy usage and identifying opportunities for improvement

Ensuring the facility complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Collaborating with the production team to minimise disruptions and optimise facility performance

Providing technical support and advice to the management team on facility-related matters

What we're looking for

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Facility Management) or a relevant field

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Facility Engineer or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry

Proven track record of successfully managing the operation and maintenance of industrial facilities

Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

Proficient in interpreting and applying relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards

Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Familiarity with energy management and sustainability best practices
