Boston Scientific Medical Device (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Penang to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on facilities equipment, including HVAC, electrical and life-support systems.

You will work from sketches, install and reconfigure cubicles, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Ideal candidates hold a technical diploma/degree in facilities maintenance, have hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, and are proficient with

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a technical diploma/degree in facilities maintenance.
Experience with mechanical and electrical systems preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on facilities equipment, e.g. air compressor, process water system, fire suppression system, HVAC, electrical.
Works from rough sketches and drawings.
Performs installation and reconfiguration on cubicles and office fixtures.
Communicates concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their Manager.
Responsible for identifying, sourcing and replenishment of all equipment spares.
Take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.
Responsible to monitor the BMS system, record abnormalities and alert supervisor.
