Job summary

Boston Scientific in Malaysia’s Penang region is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment and office fixtures. The candidate should have a technical diploma/degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or life-support systems, and be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have technical diploma/degree or equivalent experience in facilities maintenance.
• Performs plant and/or office facilities maintenance duties, simple electrical projects, light construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on facilities equipment.
• Will work from rough sketches and drawings.
• Performs installation and reconfiguration on cubicles and office fixtures.
• Communicates safety and environmental concerns to their Manager.
• Responsible for identifying, sourcing and replenishment of all equipment spares.
• Take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.
• Monitor the BMS system, record abnormalities and report to supervisor.
