JOB DESCRIPTION:
Complete work orders on a timely basis by following Sanmina standard operating procedures.
Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the Sanmina premises and ensure all utilities supplied to Production are within control limits. If any findings on the system occur, immediately inform the Engineer to take necessary action to rectify the situation.
Respond promptly and efficiently to any work or maintenance calls that arise from either Facility Engineer or other departments.
Respond politely and promptly to requesters and resolve matters to their satisfaction.
Able to prioritize work or maintenance issues and attend to breakdowns as a priority.
Perform maintenance activities in any areas including electrical equipment, plumbing, ESD tiles, and air conditioning.
Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment related to Facility.
Monitor the HVAC system to ensure RH% and temperature in production are within control limits.
Monitor fire alarm/life safety systems as necessary, be fully informed of system operations, and handle emergencies involving the systems.
Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and water systems.
Communicate with different departments to provide them with information and assistance.
Check for new maintenance or work requests arranged by the Engineer and update remarks once the task is completed.
Able to use wits and technical abilities to solve problems and make repairs effectively and efficiently.
Able to maintain a daily logbook of work done during the shift.
Able to take charge of a shift.
Able to complete the daily checklist before handing over the shift.
Able to ensure the smooth functioning of all machinery and equipment.
Able to give proper handover to the next shift and take regular briefings of the shift staff.
Pass down and update all complaints as they are received to the next shift tech and the Engineer.
Execute the preventative maintenance schedule and ensure all equipment and designated areas are maintained to the required standard.
Responsible for making decisions when the Engineer and Assistant Engineer are not available.
Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition.
Maintain the engineering working area and control desk in good condition at all times.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Train and instruct other staff members through sharing knowledge and skills.
Attend all firefighting classes to obtain a thorough knowledge of firefighting appliances.
Perform any other job assigned by management as required.
Develop criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.
May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards.
Minimum 2 to 4 years of similar experience.
Knowledge in Water Treatment System (IETS) & Electrical troubleshooting.
