Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  1. Complete work orders on a timely basis by following Sanmina standard operating procedures.
  2. Perform routine and preventative maintenance within the premises, ensuring all utilities supplied to production are within control limits. Immediately inform the Engineer of any system issues for prompt rectification.
  3. Respond promptly to work or maintenance calls from Facility Engineer or other departments.
  4. Respond politely and promptly to requesters and resolve matters to their satisfaction.
  5. Prioritize work or maintenance issues and attend to breakdowns as a priority.
  6. Perform maintenance activities in areas including electrical equipment, plumbing, ESD tiles, and air conditioning.
  7. Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of facility-related equipment.
  8. Monitor HVAC systems to maintain RH% and temperature within control limits.
  9. Monitor fire alarm and life safety systems, understand their operation, and handle emergencies involving these systems.
  10. Operate and understand electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and water systems.
  11. Communicate effectively with different departments, providing information and assistance as needed.
  12. Check for new maintenance or work requests arranged by the Engineer and update remarks upon task completion.
  13. Use technical skills and problem-solving abilities to perform repairs efficiently.
  14. Maintain a daily logbook of work performed during shifts.
  15. Take charge of a shift and ensure smooth operations.
  16. Complete daily checklists before shift handover.
  17. Ensure all machinery and equipment function smoothly.
  18. Provide proper handover to the next shift and conduct regular briefings with shift staff.
  19. Communicate complaints received to the next shift technician and Engineer.
  20. Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain equipment and areas to standard.
  21. Make decisions when Engineers are unavailable.
  22. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
  23. Keep the engineering working area and control desk in good condition.
  24. Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  25. Train and share knowledge with other staff members.
  26. Attend firefighting training and understand firefighting appliances thoroughly.
  27. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
  28. Develop criteria and performance specifications to meet operational and safety standards.
  29. Oversee health and safety standards as required.
  30. Minimum 2 to 4 years of similar experience.
  31. Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
  32. Knowledge of Water Treatment Systems (IETS) and electrical troubleshooting.
