Job summary

SAMTEC, Inc. is seeking a facilities support technician in Johor Bahru to assist with maintenance, repair, and installation of basic facility systems. You will help with scheduled filter changes and support several building management systems to keep the environment safe and functional.

The role requires a high school diploma and willingness to learn on the job, with training provided. You must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications to document tasks and track work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Vocational or Technical Education is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assists with scheduled Filter Changes.
• Assists with maintaining all Critical Facility Systems (e.g., Compressed Air, Access Control, Security, Emergency Response, Public Address, Building Management, Fire Control).
• Performs repairs as needed and where capable on all Facility Related items.
• Participates routinely on all waste collection and recyclable collection tasks.
• Maintain facilities to enable associates to support overall Customer Service needs by focusing on building safety and cleanliness.
• Must be computer literate and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
