Job summary

SAMTEC, Inc is seeking a facilities support role in Malaysia to assist with routine filter changes and maintenance of building systems such as compressed air, access control, and security. The role includes performing repairs as needed and supporting waste management initiatives.

Candidates should be computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft Office; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with vocational training preferred. On-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assists with scheduled Filter Changes.
• Maintains all specified building systems including air, access control, security, and fire control.
• Performs repairs on Facility Related items as needed.
• Participates in waste collection and recycling tasks.
• Maintains facilities to support customer service through safety and cleanliness.

Focused on providing maintenance, repair, and installation of basic Facility needs.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.

• Assists with scheduled Filter Changes.
• Assists with maintaining all Compressed Air, Access Control, Security, Emergency Response, Public Address, Building Management, and Fire Control Systems.
• Performs repairs as needed and where capable on all Facility Related items.
• Participates routinely on all waste collection and recyclable collection tasks.
• Maintain facilities to enable associates to support overall Customer Service needs by focusing on building safety and cleanliness.
• Must be computer literate and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
