Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support building facilities at the I-Stay dormitory and related infrastructure. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance tasks to keep buildings in good condition.

Candidates should have minimum SPM or Diploma in Engineering, at least 2 years in facility maintenance, and good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in building facility maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical works and maintenance services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Facilities is a professional who keeps buildings running smoothly by repairing wiring, replacing light bulbs, and installing new equipment or facilities in a dormitory and infrastructure.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing, and painting, to keep the I-Stay building in good condition.
• Move and relocate office furniture, make adjustment to desk, chairs, and files.
• Repair locking system on doors, files, cabinets, and lockers.
• Update the maintenance block daily report at the I-Stay AIO Application.
• Assist to Maintenance Supervisor on district maintenance projects such as preventive maintenance of the buildings.
• Respond to immediate maintenance requirements as required.
• May provide support in supervising and managing maintenance records and supplies.
• Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of work tools.
• Complying with different safety measures and policies.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management
