Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a Building Technician for the Property Management Office to supervise, inspect and maintain MEP installations and related preventive maintenance, ensuring safe and reliable building operations.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 3 years in property/building management. Certifications like PW/AO are a plus, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
3 years of property/building management experience.
Wireman (PW) certification or AO or other technician certificates is a plus.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Supervise, inspect all MEP installations to ensure functioning and preventive maintenance.
Check lighting, fittings and timers for functionality.
Inspect toilets, plumbing installations and sanitary fittings and carry out maintenance/repairs.
Inspect exit doors/closers/locks/hinges and ensure good working condition.
Inspect and repair finishes to floors, walls and ceilings.
Inspect car parking bays and repaint bays when necessary.
Attend to emergency and maintenance calls after office hours.
Handle enquiries/complaints pertaining to common property.
Carry out other building maintenance works as directed.
