Facilities Executive & 3D Graphic Designer

The Facilities Executive & 3D Graphic Designer supports the Head of Facilities Management in ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained. The role focuses on developing facilities development layout plans and 3D drawings to obtain Head of Facilities Management’s approval, and provides administrative support for department deliverables, primarily on housekeeping services.

Key Duties
  • Facilities Projects
    • Facilities Project Drafting/Planning: prepare layout plan drawings using appropriate software for planned renovations, construction and improvement projects within the school; prepare 3D drawings to reflect planned projects and obtain approvals from stakeholders; prepare estimated Bill of Quantity for project budgeting and tendering purposes.
  • Facilities Management
    • Customer Service: follow up with customers on “closed” job cards to gauge satisfaction and provide up-to-date reports on customer satisfaction to the Head of Facilities Management; work with Department Executives/Supervisors to identify areas for improvement in service delivery and plan/recommend improvement strategies; act as liaison for event management.
    • Administration and Reporting: support Head of Facilities Management in establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for service deliverables; ensure compliance with statutory renewals; undertake other reporting as required; conduct regular stock-takes of consumables and tools; assist in resource management tasks (leave, overtime, etc.); prepare monthly reports on housekeeping service deliverables and consumables; liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality of services.

  • High level of integrity; attention to detail; creative in preparing project layouts and 3D drawings; passionate about delivering the best customer experience and service; systematic in approach and able to work under time pressure; strong PC literacy (MS Office and Google Documents) and open to new IT applications; self-motivated and able to work independently; genuine interest in young people and their wellbeing; alignment with the School’s boarding ethos and the values of Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar.
