Purpose StatementPlans, designs, and supervises the construction of new or existing facilities to support company goals, utilizing available resources efficiently while adhering to time and budget constraints.
What You'll Be Doing- Oversees planning, design, reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
- Prepares and updates AutoCAD layout drawings for office re-layouts, buildings, and engineering systems.
- Manages facilities cost centers to ensure spending stays within budget.
- Ensures compliance with FDA/ISO standards applicable to facilities such as cleanrooms, air/nitrogen supply, and water systems.
- Liaises with the design team to meet Boston Scientific requirements.
- Manages office seating arrangements to meet company standards.
- Develops criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment to meet operational requirements and safety codes.
- Coordinates with architecture and engineering firms on design criteria and layout drawings.
- Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facility acquisition.
- Inspects construction and installation progress for compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Reviews data on facility or equipment specifications, restrictions, deadlines, and feasibility.
- Assists in developing and maintaining short-term and long-term space plans.
- May oversee scheduling, coordination, and planning of preventative maintenance.
- Plans and coordinates periodic shutdowns for equipment servicing and maintenance.
What We're Looking For- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in facilities-related disciplines.
- Skills in project management, AutoCAD, and facilities management.
